Take two capsules with breakfast. That one line can steady a whole shelf of half used bottles, because it tells you what to take, when to take it, and what to anchor it to.

Two capsules every morning, kept up over months. That direction sits on the jar of Pre + Probiotic, 60 capsules for 75 dollars, and it gives Daily Capsule readers a clear starting point. A fixed amount, a fixed count, a fixed slot in the day.

Miller started The Nue Co. in 2017 after coping with IBS through her early twenties. She recalls testing high street and prescription style options that left her feeling worse, then narrowing her own mornings to food plus a tight supplement set. The brand name draws on nue, which means stripped back or naked, and her early rule was plain. She judged that around half of many formulas was synthetic fillers and bulking agents, so she set out to write shorter labels with stated doses.

What the line covers today goes past gut capsules. The collection includes ingestibles, a topical magnesium spray, hair formulas and a large functional fragrance range built with perfumer Frank Voelkl and houses including Givaudan and Firmenich. After a 2024 rebrand built around mood states, fragrance made up 65 percent of revenue. A practical reader can miss the routine point inside that change. Pills and powders could not offer speed, so Miller added scent, which she frames as a fast path to awareness, memory and mood.

Keep your Magnesium Ease spray by the bed for joints and stomach at night with magnesium chloride plus lavender oil and arnica oil. Note what you can trace in that bottle on a routine night and what stays harder to confirm.

Magnesium Ease is our topical spray, 60 ml for 45 dollars, and it often moves fragrance buyers toward ingestibles and body care. The front routine is simple. You spray it on joints and stomach before bed as part of a nightly wind down. On traceability, we can show the mineral origin, the batch number, the essential oil vendor and heavy metal testing on the finished lot. Lavender and arnica arrive from plant chains that carry harvest dates plus distillation or extraction papers. What stays tougher to map, to be honest, is full field history for each minor aroma part at every moment, since fragrance and botanical markets pool lots to hit specification. I prefer to translate niche rituals for the masses rather than keep wellness exclusive, and I prefer to bring customers in through fragrance rather than through supplements alone. The rule still stands. If we cannot name the grower or show the test, we state that gap, and we keep working on the paper trail.

You started The Nue Co. in 2017 after IBS in your early twenties when store supplements left you feeling worse. Think what those early labels taught you about fillers and formulation quality for daily use.

Wellness always felt close to home for me. I grew up in a Colombian household grounded in plant based healing, I visited the herbalist beside my mother, and I first heard about vitamin B12 from my grandfather, who worked as a chemist. After IBS arrived, I spent plenty of time and money on formulas that left me feeling worse. As a rule, I judged that 50 percent of ingredients were synthetic fillers and bulking agents. My grandfather had introduced me to probiotic supplements and showed me that formulation plus ingredient quality make all the difference. I had worked inside the supplement industry and I noticed the lack of transparency and effectiveness. I feel as if my whole life had gathered insights for The Nue Co. No role truly spoke to me, so I chose to build one. Nue means stripped back or naked in your daily formula habit. That stayed the brief. Pure efficacious ingredients at proven dosages with nothing extra to bulk out the capsule.

In 2019 you launched Functional Fragrance direct to consumer with perfumer Frank Voelkl, expected little, then saw a tiny order sell out before Black Friday. Consider what that taught you about smell as a delivery system in a morning routine.

When functional fragrance first launched, I assumed it would do absolutely nothing. The year was 2019. We sold direct to consumer. Many mentors and investors told me it made no sense to discuss stress or mental health because those topics sat outside wellness. Capsules, powders and tinctures could not offer the immediacy we were seeking. So we turned to the olfactory system, which works basically as the highway to your brain. The debut scent was warm, smoky, fresh and spicy, blended with Frank Voelkl, built to calm the nervous system. You spritz pulse points ahead of stressful moments while breathing slowly. It sold out. That result showed us people wanted tools for stress and sleep and mood that slot into a day, not another routine to run. Although our fragrances put function first, I wanted them to last as icons. Fragrance later reached 65 percent of revenue after our 2024 rebrand around six mood states and eight fragrances, and in 2025 we joined Ulta Beauty as exclusive retailer focused on fragrance.

You say nue means stripped back or naked and centered on pure efficacious ingredients. See how that idea shows up in the other ingredients line on a jar like Pre plus Probiotic.

At The Nue Co. our starting rule is to make supplements that harm neither people nor the planet. Sustainability sits at the center of our work, since we view health as one linked ecosystem. We mix science and nature through sustainable plus clinically proven ingredients to build health products that serve people and the planet. In label terms that means we reject artificial colors, flavors, fillers, GMO ingredients, refined sugars and preservatives in ingestibles. We also reject toxic preservatives, additives, flavourings and sweeteners, and we keep a list of over 200 banned ingredients. Pre + Probiotic ranked among our earliest products and it remains a bestseller. It combines a prebiotic with spore bacteria, which rest dormant until they arrive in the small intestine where they activate. Take two capsules daily in the morning with water for long term gut health. That is what the panel states, and the batch paperwork is what allows us to back it.

You describe probiotic blending with a special slow blender to protect stability for daily dosing. Ask why blending speed matters for a steady two capsule morning dose.

Because the jar must contain what the panel promises when you swallow it. High shear builds heat and fractures particles in ways that may lower viability. A gentle blender guards bacteria stability during blending, then we manage moisture and fill weight at encapsulation so every capsule carries its planned amount. That is part of what my grandfather meant when he said formulation plus ingredient quality make all the difference. A recipe can appear correct on paper yet still shed potency in the factory when the method runs too hard. We check purity and potency and we hold batch records, so when a customer asks about jar 60 capsules, we can trace the lot and lab sheet. Our products are built to live across your day and across rooms in your home. They should feel pleasant to use, never a chore. The morning dose shows it best. Two capsules, same time, same glass of water, no tangled stack.

Your brief states that over half of ingredients are organic or community sourced and formulas are tested for efficacy, purity and potency. Ask where exactly the Pre plus Probiotic material begins, and what happens between harvest and encapsulation.

We select clinically studied plus ethically sourced ingredients at proven dosages, and more than half are organic or community sourced. Each lot is checked for efficacy, purity and potency. For probiotics, the chain counts because living organisms react to heat, moisture and shear. Our probiotic blending relies on a special slow blender to guard bacteria stability. That detail sounds minor, yet it determines whether fill weight in the capsule meets the count shown on the Supplement Facts panel when you take it. The plant part begins on farms listed in our sourcing files, then it dries to a defined moisture limit, mills, and extracts where an extract is specified. Extract ratio plus standardisation appear on the certificate of analysis. Next the material blends, fills into capsules, and sealed jars wait until third party lab returns arrive for heavy metals and microbes. I prefer clean and clinically proven ingredients over synthetic fillers and additives. Clean, for us, must point to a document behind the word.

Take two capsules at the same time with the same glass of water and no complicated stack.

You keep fragrance in the daily routine with Givaudan and Firmenich and you leave out phthalates, nitromusks, polycyclic musks, parabens and synthetic fixatives Ask what that refuse list changes at the compounding bench for everyday wear.

It shifts both palette and records. We create fragrances with Givaudan and Firmenich plus world class perfumers, and we turn away from phthalates, nitromusks, polycyclic musks, parabens and synthetic fixatives. Those inputs often supply tenacity and lift, so without them a perfumer must rebuild frame with other aroma materials and check stability in the 50 ml and 10 ml sizes. Functional Fragrance costs 125 dollars for 50 ml and 38 dollars for 10 ml. First Milk, Us, Good Spirits and the rest use the same sizes. Every version carries a stated mood intention on its page, and ingredient lists follow cosmetic rules. I founded The Nue Co. to share that outlook, helping people link with their bodies through products and rituals that feel both beautiful and effective. In fragrance terms that means a scent you enjoy wearing, with a credited perfumer, a credited house, and a formula file noting what stayed out as well as what went in.

Set your stack by clock time, not by cabinet order. Keep Pre + Probiotic beside the kettle or toothbrush and take two capsules in the morning with water for long term gut health. Keep Growth Phase, 90 capsules for 65 dollars, with that same morning glass and take it daily for 90 days as part of the 360 hair approach, so refills land on a clear date. Keep Debloat Plus, 60 capsules for 55 dollars with digestive enzymes and stated actives, where the label directs for meal linked use rather than beside the morning pair. Save Magnesium Ease for night. Spray on joints and stomach before bed, then place the 60 ml bottle on the nightstand so the cue stays visible. Save Functional Fragrance for pressure points in the day. Spritz on pulse points before stressful moments with slow breathing, and keep the 10 ml in a bag while the 50 ml stays home. Track for two to four weeks. Note timing, with food or without, training days, sleep, stool pattern, shedding. If a bottle keeps getting skipped, move the bottle, not the goal. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before you stack anything with a medication, a pregnancy or a condition.

You kept the routine on track after you closed a 25 million dollar fundraise in 2021, entered Sephora that year, released Forest Lungs after COVID and sold three months of stock in a week Ask how scale tested your testing and lot discipline as demand spiked.

I see my superpower in that first year as naivety plus lack of experience. Back then, and for a good while after, nothing else in my life mattered. Then growth came fast. We entered Sephora in 2021, we closed a 25 million dollar fundraise, and we released Forest Lungs after COVID and sold three months of stock in a week. When quantity rises, the system must stay firm. That requires locked specs, reserved raw lots, kept samples and release only after results. It also requires refusing a shortcut that might ship faster. I prefer not to over engineer health in a way that breeds anxiety. Our products are built to live across each part of your day. That rhythm only holds when each batch equals the last. Forest Lungs drew on the Japanese practice of forest bathing and grew through olfactory chemistry. The demand surge tested planning, not principle. We held the same order. Source, make, test, release, document.

You often say health works as an ecosystem and you anchor the habit in whole body health For a careful buyer reading Supplement Facts, note what to look for on your labels to judge that claim.

Start with the Supplement Facts panel, then scan the other ingredients line. Check the amount of each active, capsule number, and use directions. Pre + Probiotic lists two capsules daily in the morning for long term gut health. Debloat Plus lists 60 capsules for 55 dollars with digestive enzymes and stated actives. Growth Phase lists 90 capsules for 65 dollars with daily use for 90 days as part of a 360 hair approach. Then notice what stays out. We turn away from artificial colors, flavors, fillers, GMO ingredients, refined sugars and preservatives in ingestibles, plus over 200 banned ingredients across the range. I believe we should join science and sensibility through products that support the physical and emotional body. Support is the correct term. The label tells what sits in the capsule, the amount, the way to take it, and what we refused. Everything else is routine, sleep, food, movement. Health is an ecosystem. Take great care. That remains our code, The Nue Co.de, and the art of feeling well, stated plainly.

Closing note from the desk

What lingers is how Miller turns sourcing into a timetable you can keep. Morning capsules by the glass, meal linked enzymes kept apart, a nightstand spray at lights out, scent kept in a pocket for tense hours. Same formulas, same tests, same lot codes, only arranged so a rushed Tuesday still works.

The brand promise stays stripped back, fewer inputs, clear amounts, papers to support each claim. Read the panel, anchor the dose to an existing habit, space what needs spacing, and let the routine carry the result language in careful terms.
