Just before the release of his long-awaited fifth studio album this Friday called Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Kendrick Lamar has surprised fans and dropped a new single titled, ‘The Heart Part 5’ which is Lamar’s first release as a lead artist since the year 2018.
The song even has a music video for it which was directed by Dave Free & Kendrick Lamar himself and it presents K.Dot rapping directly into the camera while his face morphs into that of OJ Simpson, Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kanye West, Nipsey Hussle, and more. This track samples Marvin Gaye’s 1976 hit “I Want You.” Fans all over the world seem to be enjoying this return and as the days towards the release of his album count down, ‘The Heart Part 5’, is doing well to increase the hype surrounding it.
